Woodwork, Design & Technology Training Supervisor

Full-time Permanent Post (37.5 hours per week)
Monday - Friday (8.45 am - 4.15 pm)
Starting salary: £16,479 per annum, rising to £19,746 per annum according to length of service and relevant qualifications.

We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and conscientious individual who will work with people with mental health issues and/or learning disabilities who have expressed an interest in woodwork, DIY and/or design, supporting them to learn, practice or maintain their skills.  In addition, you will introduce people to a wider range of woodcrafts and design, encourage them to undertake certified courses and qualifications, and work towards employment where appropriate.  You will also be responsible for generating income through the production and sale of woodworked items both internally and externally to ensure the financial viability of the department.
