Here at Blyth Star Enterprises, individuals benefit from a person-centred approach focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. By offering a range of opportunities within a friendly and supportive environment those that we work with can take control of their own lives and establish and maintain a valued and meaningful role in their community.
We provide service users with a range of fantastic opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and involve themselves in the local community, including clubs and groups at The Old Chandlery, experiencing a real working environment at The Woodfuel Centre, courses and training at our Woodwork Depot, or getting your hands dirty with some horticulture at Stakeford Nurseries.
Blyth Star supports a number of groups in South Northumberland set up specifically to provide social interaction and opportunities to people whose lives have been affected by mental health issues or social isolation. These groups bring people together with activities ranging from walking or cycling to arts and baking groups, and all they take place in a friendly and supportive environment.
