We are delighted to announce that following a rigorous interview and assessment process, that Blyth Star Enterprises has been Accredited by Investors in People!
At Blyth Star, our people are incredibly important to us. The people that we employ continuously go above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of the 400 service users that we support across the county living with learning disabilities and or mental ill health.
All of the services that we provide, from our rehabilitation facilities to our day services simply wouldn’t be possible without the outstanding dedication and support shown by our staff and volunteers and for that, we are extremely grateful.
During our assessment, we received praise for:
· People are committed to giving quality support to residents/clients/service users within a culture of respect and empowerment and are proud to work for Blyth Star
· The effectiveness of open communication within teams and between staff and managers
· The organisation, managers and people actively look to develop new skills and knowledge which help keep people safe and well supported.
In our official report, the IIP assessor, said:
“I would like to wish all the staff at Blyth Star Enterprises Ltd. continued success. My thanks go everyone involved in the assessment for their warm welcome and openness at the Context Meeting and the on-site visit, with particular thanks to Ann Marie Lister for her help. On behalf of Investors in People North of England, I congratulate Blyth Star on achieving accreditation. Well done.”
To have our organisation recognised with a globally recognised standard of excellence such as Investors in People is a great achievement and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the assessment for helping to make this possible.
